Feelings during meditation

Hi everyone

Sorry if this has been covered before but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I'm on lesson one of the Wicca revealed course and have been doing the meditations, the tree one mainly. I hadn't really meditated much previously. I did it today and I found I slipped into the meditation quite easily, which I was pleased with.

My question is, does anyone else get physical feelings during a meditation? I always feel a build up of energy in my base/sacral chakra area followed by a feeling of floating.

Also, today, right at the end of my meditation I saw a nun! I hadn't seen her for years. When I was in my teens I used to go to the open circle at my spiritualist church and my spirit guide was a nun. It looks like she may have returned!

Feelings and sensations are very common. Many times we will feel the emergies of beings that are with us. Also meditation can be used for cleansing our own energy. So that can make it very easy to feel the energy flowing through our body. If you do feel energy "build up" it is imprtant to release it, much like grounding energy you would raise while doing a ritual.
