Has anyone seen this deck?
It just moved to the top of my wish list...It's amazing...
Here is a link, but it won't go well with dial up, so beware. Enter as a 'visitor', then scroll over your options and take a look at some of the cards. (Major Arcana is in the center, and you can click on the cards to bring them closer to you. When you click on the High Priestess, just sit back and enjoy the show. It is an animation of the card design, and it's amazing!)

The Moon is my favourite card!

I love the Legacy deck. Am waiting to get the Tarot of Dreams that he is releasing as a standard deck. I'm on the waiting list to get one quicker. Then I want the Legacy deck. I just love his work. At his website he has other artwork he's done, and I love that too. There's also a video. If you go to his website to the Legacy link, there's a link to watch it. It's pretty cool also.

I've actually made somewhat of a ritual out of watching the video with my morning coffee, Tallwoman!
It's very soothing and his website is absolutely amazing.
I also really love his Gilded Tarot. I actually went to buy it one day and got confused and bought Golden Tarot instead, which I do not care for.
Great, Whitefox...Now Shadowscapes Tarot is on my wish list...Spiders and all!
Here is the link for the Shadowscapes Tarot for those who haven't seen it:

It is stunning!

There's a spider in the 8 of pentacles in Shadowscapes
She has her own website, http://www.shadowscapes.net/ and you can see all the cards there.

Yesterday, it just moved into my apartment, and off my wish list...
It's amazing. I got the boxed set, and it comes with a 300+ page book that has breakdowns on each card by 4 different tarot specialist. I absolutely love it.
And my favourite cards have already changed. I love The Hermit and Two of Cups.

Yeah, now that I have a job that pays decently, I think I know where a lot of my disposable income will be going. Isis Books and/or Azure Green will be getting lots of orders from me. Candles, and books, and decks, oh my!!!!!!!

This deck is getting a definite 'thumbs up' from me.
Yesterday, WickedSky and I spent the day outside, sitting by the canal and enjoying our last summer weekend. I took my deck and the book that came with it, and spend the afternoon getting to know each of the cards individually.
The suit of cups brought me to my knees. I literally started crying and could not stop.
Yes, the artwork is amazing, but the symbolism is far beyond that.
I would highly recommend this deck for anyone who focuses on highly intuitive readings rather than relying on a book. Once you 'get' the story behind this deck, there is no way to forget it...

I hope you like it as much as I do. I plan to do my first reading with it this afternoon.
Normally, I would work with it a bit longer before actually using it, but if a deck can make me cry, I'm pretty sure it's ready for me.
I'd love to have the Special Edition deck...

I love this deck, it's gorgeous! The Shadowscapes is amazing too. I'm a beginner in the world of tarot, so I'm going to work with one deck alone and then work my way to collecting different sorts of decks. I was just wondering how you all choose which deck to do individual readings with? Or if it's just a matter of which one you are drawn to at a particular moment before actually doing a reading. I'm sort of getting overwhelmed with all of the different decks!

Sometimes the querent chooses, sometimes a deck jumps out at me. It depends.

LinaB, it is hard to choose a first deck. You have to be able to count on yourself and your relationship to the deck - I think that's one of the most important factors. If you don't 'feel' it, you'll get discouraged.
I would recommend going with one of the more 'intuitive' reading decks. By that, I mean where the pip cards aren't just pips - they tell more of a story. Legacy of the Divine Tarot is perfect for this, and I really like the Tarot of a Moon Garden that I first started using.
There are thousands of decks available. Find one that interests you and check for reviews on it from experienced readers.
If you're in the least bit drawn to the Legacy of the Divine, then I would highly recommend it. If you get the boxed set, it comes with a 300+ page companion book. He tells the story behind the making of the tarot, and provides breakdowns for each card written by Ciro, plus there are 4 other tarot experts contributing to the card meanings. When I first saw this, I thought it would be somewhat confusing, but it wasn't. All 5 of them basically have the same view of the card and the meaning, but hearing it from all those different viewpoints just drives it home better, IMO.
I feel bad, because I had just found my Crystal Tarot last week, and now I'm totally devoted to the Legacy deck. So much so that I spent the entire afternoon yesterday making a reading cloth! I've yet to do a reading with them, but I've logged hours going through the cards - half the time with tears running down my face...
I will take some pics of some of the different cards to post here for those who have dial up.
