We never use the Ouija board we just write each letter of the alphabet on pieces of paper or recipe cards cut in two and place them in a semi-circle on a wood table, then at one side we have a piece of paper with Yes on it and on the other side a piece of paper with No on it. Across the bottom we have the numbers. We place our fingers on an upside-down wine glass.

Then when we're finished the pieces of paper get tossed.

When a seance is in progress it can attract all kinds of spirits, good, bad and anywhere in between and I think that's one of the reasons the Ouija board is thought to be evil by some. I agree that it has to be activated to work; but when you are operating it sometimes uninvited 'guests' can make a surprise appearance which can be a positive experience or it can just as easily be some kind of negative spirit or entity. I've experienced both of these kinds of communications.

I would recommend putting up protection doing any of this type of work.

Michael I read your post and amazingly I just feel and sense the urge to get to the point of sees things the way you do. Been so objective and well centered about anything is something I wish I could acomplish in life,specially at this moment where I am going to some sort of test that have just put me into a chaos and disvalance.Hopefully one day I will express myself and thoughts as you do!

The only thing I can say is Be cautious.

Spirits are tricky. They can be good or bad and like a lot of people had said before, Cleanse and Bless it. Because the reason bad things happen is begginers are tapping into a very powerful tool.

Many people who are beginers of using the Ouija board tend to not realize how powerful it is. Ouija boards are life changing. Just as how LindsayRebel had really bad experiences and Dragonfaerie's gifts being let loose. My mom used an Ouija board and gained foresight and a little spirit that follows her around for the rest of her life.

So for those of you reading this post, don't take the Ouija board lightly. It is one of the more powerful divination tools that take experience to use. Always have protection from harmful spirits and always cleanse your Ouija board every time you use it.

Also, if you don't like the Ouija board...if you are having experiences with the Ouija board (particularly BAD experiences) burning the Ouija board is a very dangerous thing to do. While there is a possibility of nothing happening, there is also a big possibility of making a spirit angry and making your troubles worse. Mom burned her's and now instead of just foresight, she's got a trickster spirit following her that we can't get rid of.

Also, use the Ouija board in a cleansed area, and after, cleanse the area again. Though this sounds like paranoia (and probably is) it doesn't hurt to cleanse whenever and wherever you use it.

Also, like Dragon Faerie said, have stones that provide barriers after cleansing. They're extreemly useful. Also, when talking with a spirit, try not to show fear.

So yes, I hope my post helps not only Anthony47, but everyone who reads this and wants to try a Ouija board.
