I've asked a couple of guys to make me some Runes. One from a magnolia branch, another from a set of antlers I gave him. I gave him another set for himself as payment. That has been some time ago. Runes have been calling to me, so I decided to quit waiting on others, and went to Lowe's (a home improvement store in the states) and bought 24 1" flat head wooden plugs. They're made from a hard wood. I also bought a hobby tool that works as a soldering iron and wood burner. I will be shaping my Runes in the next couple of days, then singing them, and finally blooding them. If I can get a hold of a camera, I'll take a pic and post. They will be very simple, my preference. I'm excited. I'm taking a class tomorrow on Rune Spells. Woot! Woot!!!!!

Ooooh I would definitely love to see photos!
Will you treat them with anything after blooding them? Or leave them raw?

Michael, I wish I could carry you in my pocket 24/7 365. And I think I do, in a way. But I will be sharing what I learn. I've already gotten his permission. Check your email.
Rae'ya, no, I won't be treating them with anything after I blood them. Just raw. That's my preference.

I want to have a pair made with antlers as well (but it's gotta be from a set I find, unfortunately...that's gonna take a while, lol).

It was wonderful!!! The file I sent you, Rune Charms. The charms or spells at the back are ones the author has created using the Havamal verses on Runes. It was the author that did the class. There are also a bunch of Bind Runes, and an additional Rune Charm I need to find a way to send you. I wish you could have been there. He has such a way of explaining Runes, and how they work. I learn so much from him!
