My advice is to never touch a ouija board but if you're desparate.... Come share your experience with me and I'll give some cooments and stuff.
I myself have never touched a ouija board but my mum said that she talked to Jim Hensen (The creater of the muppets.). And a friend of the family had bad luck for several years after she played with one so I guess there can be good and bad outcomes with a ouija board.

comments and stuff? Please explain a bit what you mean especially since you never touched one...on the other side I can see how Oujia board can act as a conduit to negative energy. I am equally one who has never worked with one and as such really cannot comment. FOr me personally I would cast the circle to filter out negative energy.

I'm fascinated by all the talk about ouija boards. I must say I've never come across one but I'm truly blown away by all the negative scare stories you hear here and everywhere.
If only people treated cars with the same caution, maybe we wouldn't have so many road accidents!
It's a piece of cardboard........

Hmm, here's my experience, and the reason that I personally wouldn't use one again, but what other people do is up to them, so long as they know what they're doing and can do so safely. I demonstrated the perfect way of how NOT to do it. I was 10 years old.....I had read a story in a magazine about someone who had used one and bad things happened, and it was warning everyone to steer clear. So, naturally I instantly wanted to try it We were in my friends house (downstairs were her very catholic family...ooops) and we decided to make one. We cut letters out of paper and layed them in a circle, and used her money box as the pointer (whatever its called). We pretty much freaked eachother out, the money box moved, not sure wether we moved it or something else did, but it moved and we were scared. We ended up running downstairs and confessing all to her mum (who was FURIOUS) and kicked us all out. So nothing dramatic happened but personally I would never do it again.

Chequer wrote: It's a piece of cardboard........ lol knot magic is just a bunch of knots; a candle is just a candle; a spell is just a bunch of words - UNTIL you use any of the aforementioned and add your intent. That piece of cardboard, also known as a ouija board, (or you can write your own letters and cut them out, add yes or no and some numbers and use a wine glass and you've got a home-made one) can help you connect psychically to the otherworld. There are wonderful, helpful spirits and entities out there on the astral planes but just as in this world there are also harmful, negative entities and spirits running around out there, too. Therefore, it's best to set up some good protection when working with the oujia board - it IS possible to run into trouble when using the ouija board if you're not careful. Arada: I'm sure you meant well but how can you offer comments when you're unfamiliar with using the ouija board Briganta

Merry Meet Sorry but i thought i was helping. It's just i've heard a lot of stories about people i know and how a ouija board hurt them in some way or another. I didn't mean to upset any of you. Love and Light Arada

I have never done a ouija board myself but this is because I am very careful of who to do this with. I would only ever do one with someone who knows what they are doing and with good protection. The way in which I see them is through belief.
My belief with them is that they are a portal between the living and the dead and spirits can come in many personalities just like people can. Because of this you would not know what can come through without protection to keep out the negativity.
This can also be said of majick because this should only be attempted by those who know what they are doing. Nothing should be attempted as a laugh or a game because this is where you are asking for trouble.
Blessed be.

Ive played with Ouija boards, nothing ever happened ( when i was young ) I have one in my room, mostly for decoration, but i dont ever try to use it. To me its just wood, with a pretty print pasted on top. Ive got a lot of things in my room, that could be considered dangerous if used wrong, thats where your education in Witchcraft comes in. The big debate on Ouija boards, are they bad, or do nothing???? Well if you use one with the intent of contacting a spirit, you may draw in a spirit, but you can do that without a Ouija board. People that dont believe in them usually never have anything happen, so i think its in your intent, not the wooden board with the pretty print pasted on top. Lots of things are made of wood & plastic, are they dangerous?? IMO the user is the one that controls contacting spirits, the board a tool maybe, but not much of anything without intent. Elia V

ahhhh.... i think one of my fave tools ever is the ouija board altho the experiences i had with them when i was younger were nothing short of life changing!! i dont recommend people just fool around with them tho, they should be taken seriously just like any other divination tool. i think they get so much attention because of the negative impact they can often have on younger people. but truly, the same events can happen with any divination tool! its just a much more widely known and feared tool i think. ive heard voices, seen things move across my room, seen endless events where my electronics were messed with, seen visions and scryed in mirrors all while using the ouija board. i even tried to burn a wooden one after some frightening experiences. only to figure out it wouldnt burn! not even when doused with gasoline. i just ended up burying that particular one. but back then, i was just coming to grips with my psy abilities. i didnt know how to control my gifts and it made for an interesting young adulthood to say the least,lol.... in 8th grade i even had one stenciled on the back of my binder and even tho i loved the sense of adventure and the thrill, there were many nights i couldnt sleep due to fear or the spirits in my home. i guess, take what you hear with a giant scoop of salt, pay attention, shield and be safe. there isnt a reason to stay away from it if it is used reponsibly

that must have been scary when you were young. how old were you when you first started useing the oija board? and what was your best and worst experiance? i'd like to know how you've done so far. All this talk of it has made me want to try it. i mean i'v alwys wanted to talk with spirits but never been able to. any-one know how? i don't think mum would let me get an oija board or even a nice pendulum but it would be nice to talk to maybe my grandfather, poppy.

i think i was around age 12 when i first started "messing" with ouija boards ever since i was little i have always been into everything spooky/ghostly/witchy/metaphysical etc.... I saw my first scary movie at age 5 (bad on my babysitters part tho! was much too young ) and my next several scary movies around age 11 and 12. after that i couldnt get my hands on enough stuff to watch or read!!! i even had a ouija board on the back of my binder in 8th grade,lol.... i made them outta wood, paper, cardboard, whatever worked! i got my neighbors and friends to play with me during lunchtime and after school. the best and most effective sessions i had were on wood or cardboard ones at my home. altho frankly, the land i lived on was weird and i had frequent ghostly/spirit experiences. so that might have been a part of it too. in the end i really did have some serious freaky experiences, but i dont think i would take any of them back if i could. they helped me learn alot about the spirit world and myself; and how i interact with the spirit world etc

merry meet!
I have never used one, I have had a friend use one, but I here people on here talk about protection to keep out the negativity and casting a circle of protection. My question is what does this circle consist (how is it done) of when using a Ouija board and how do you do devise this protection to protect and keep out negativity? I only ask this cause no one seems to have pointed this out !
thanks guys!
Blessings to you all
