Or go into the bathroom and then request toilet paper be brought to them.....and can we not put it on the roller??

I hate that I'm expected to make this woman happy. No matter what I do, I can't live up to that. She refuses to be happy, so I'm set up for failure. Greet her with a smile. Do the dishes. Sweep the floor. Keep the baby from making too much noise. Stay out in the heat for hours and get dehydrated so I can get a job. Nope. None of that is good enough for one day. She wants me to hand her happiness, all tied up in a bow, because she doesn't know she has to choose it first. As I'm doing the dishes (hand washing them each individually, by the way), she opens a cabinet and sees the bowls aren't clean yet. She sighs heavily and slams the Tupperware cabinet open to make sure I know she's displeased that she has to use plastic for the next five minutes. But does she even consider maybe cleaning up a dish for herself? Nope. No one does. On top of that, she's giving me dirty looks because according to her Evelyn is wheezing. She is not wheezing. She was whining with her pacifier in her mouth. Oh no! I don't rush my baby off to the hospital ever time she sneezes! I'm such a horrible parent! I thing I would know when my child is ill. Especially since I'm around her 24/7 and she's been making that noise for the past three days because she's teething! Same stuff, different day.
Anyways, I'm gonna go hang out with my friends and be happy now! Feels good to have all that off my chest!

sounds like some pms^ but if it's chronic you can be like, 'Hey it's really great you have such high expectations, but I'm just a human being. Are you really going to choose dishes over me? And by the way, I see all your passive aggressive bs and you're not fooling anyone.' But you're right, people should own their own feelings.
Anyway, I'm upset because my domestic partner called me cheap in a video game and that I play like my brother. Which isn't true. At all. I beat the biscuits outta him. So then I tried playing my partner handicapped (we're about an even match), so that if I won, it would be an undeniable victory (I can't tell my domestic partner I'm playing handicapped). But then my domestic partner goes into a rage about me not liking being compared to my brother, saying I'm too melancholy and I ruin everything. As much as I'd like to believe my competitiveness is attractive, it requires ego and when displaying a bruised ego I can understand how that may 'ruin' things. But it was apparently so ruined that we couldn't play together anymore and I was robbed of my victory. ROBBED.

The problem is, last time I tried not to please her, she threatened to kick us out earlier because we were "so ungrateful". Less than two months and I never have to see her again if I don't want to, so I'll survive.

My little family is getting kicked out, so we'll be on our own and away from the crazy woman! Which should go in the "what makes you happy" thread technically. I'll be glad to be out of the black pit of negativity that is this house, but we can't afford to be on our own just yet.
