Greetings All...have you ever used an oil diffuser?
what kind of oil did you mix with the oil concentrate.
Last night I tried using canola oil with Frankinsence and Mhyrr...at first it smelled fine, then it smelled like i was in a restaurant.
Do you use the same oils as for massage, like almond oil when heating oil?
Brightest Blessings, Kali

Hi Kali
I dont tend to use carriers oils in oil burners. i just tend to put a couple of drops of the essential oils in some water in the little bowl at the top of it. It just helps the oils to diffuse through the air better and you dont end up with a room that smells like a restaurant kitchen!!
Carrier oils are fine for massage and different ones have different properties depending on what the massage is for.
hope this helps if you have any other questions please just ask and i'll do my best to try and help

The kind of oil diffuser I have is pretty much like yours, Kali. There is a small brass bowl positioned over a tealight candle holder- I fill the bowl with water and add oils to that with a dropper.
The warmth from the candle heats the underside of the bowl so it simmers, and that is how the scent is activated and dispersed into the air. You can experiment with it and add as much or as little oil depending on how strong you like the scent

Hi Kali,
When you use your diffuser always make sure there is a little water in with the oil or your bowl could get to hot and crack.

Greetings Mainestar...thanks! I could have done that the other night. I'm glad I didn't. It is a favorite of mine, a tutle..which is one of my totem animals. I sent you an email last night re: Yule, etc.
Greetings Zeasea...I found mine at a yard sale for .25. you should be able to find one in a new age type store...or maybe at one online. I'm curious about your name..would you share its meaning with me?
Brightest Blessings to both of you, Kali

Hi Kali,
Thanks for the info. I will keep my eyes out for one.
As for the name, it is one of two that I use aroun d the net. Both of which I heard in dreams. As for there meaning, I have no idea. I have never look to see if it was a "true" name of any type. You can find me under Zeasea (of course) or Basheta. Pernounced as Z-a-sea (middle a is short), or ba-she-ta (lst a is short)
