My Grandma has just been diagnosed with cancer. It's spread through her lungs, liver and bones. The hospital are reviewing her treatment.

I'm scared, I've never lost anyone close to me before, and I won't know how to deal with it if I lost her. My fiance lost his Grandma when I got with him and I helped him as much as I could, and I know he will do the same for me.

Nothing has been confirmed, but I feel I need to prepare myself for the worst, as she has been ill with other problems for a long time.

Please, if you can, could you send your positive thoughts and prayers to my Grandma and my family.

Positive thoughts sent. I have a dear friend that I lost in a similar diagnosis in 2007. She gave up, refused treatment and she didn't have to. There are many treatments that they call "pallative" which basically extend the life expectency and make life more comfortable. Please encourage her to view each day from now on as a victory and express how much you need her for every single day that she can be present. Blessings to you.
