Hello! CraftyLittleWitch here -- I'm so glad I've found a forum with such a lovely feel to it. I really struggle to find pagan forums that I'm immediately comfortable with when I look through them. I'm not signing up for the Wicca Revealed course on the main site just yet (heaven knows that a reboot would do me good, though!) as I'm already quite busy on the study front -- alongside working full-time (as a telemarketer, no less), I'm studying with the House of Netjer and I'm doing a Bachelor's degree in Library / Information Services (very slowly ... it will take me about 6 years due to the way I've spread it out) and a Certificate IV in Financial Services. So I'm a little busy at the moment -- but I'm never too busy to make things or talk about magic! I've never made a Book of Shadows before; it'll be a mostly typed affair (scrapbooking is something I've never had a talent in, no matter how much I practice), but I've been drinking in all of the advice and examples throughout your relevant subforum.

Hi there! I remember hearing about the House of Netjer through an acquaintance on the Kemetic path. You'll have to tell us how those studies are going. Are you going to stick to something like an orthodox Kemetic faith or do you have some plans to blend it into a Wiccan tradition--or anywhere in between, for that matter? I know there are quite a few Kemetic Wiccans wandering around. Anywho, best of luck with that full plate of yours and welcome.

Well, I've only just begun the course, so I can't say that I really know whether or not I want to be Kemetic Orthodox or not just yet. I do love my neo-Wicca, but as I haven't dedicated myself to either path, I guess I could go anywhere. I'm always going to be a bit of a nature-worshipping hippie, though, whatever the outcome.

Yay ambition! I guess it would be smart not to sign up for every class you see, since from the sound of things you also started your LIS coursework recently--when or if I finally get my master's that's what I would like to study, too. I was just wondering about your path since I know HON has clergy opportunities, too. A road of open potential certainly can't be knocked either. It's a nice place to be. I will say that the nice thing about this school, when and if you decide to take classes, is that not only is it free but it is quite laid back. You can pretty much take it as slow as you want, which is nice for a procrastinator like myself. I did finally join up in a mentor group since I think three years on four lessons is taking it a bit *too* slow. Anywho, absolutely nothing wrong with checking out the pretty shiny forums. That is where I usually spent about all my time when I'm here.

frodothesmurf -- Yeah, I'm pretty much going by my-plate-is-full-enough logic, but if the courses really sit and wait for you to take as long as you please... Well then, you're really testing my ability to say no! Hahaha. I LOVE learning! The HON clergy really interests me, but I know that even if I were to become a Shemsu in KO, I wouldn't be able to become a clergywoman. I don't feel any sort of calling to align myself in such a way to a person (anyway, that's what marriage is for ); I'm happy to be a Priestess in my own rights to the Divine and the Earth, but I don't have any interest in being a Reverend. Elia V and dreamweaver200011 -- Thank you for welcoming me!
