I've read in a book ("20.000 secrets of herbal tea", or somethin like that) that catnip tea and skullcap tea is really good for easing the nerves and such.

I was just wondering if anyone has ever had these teas before and whether or not they are good ^.^

Catnip tea can be very good for easing the nerves. While it's a stimulant for cats, it can actually be an effective or at least slight mood stabiliser for humans.

You have to make sure with skullcap, that you've got Scutellaria lateriflora[/i or [i]Sc. galericulata]; because not all 200 species of skullcap out there actually share the same healing properties. It's considered a very mild sedative and anxiolytic - so basically good for reducing anxiety.

Information about tests into the efficacy of skullcap can be found here:

Valerian root also has a natural sedative effect.

Good luck to you!
