I found mine lieing in the middle of my brothers side walk in front of his house. i passed it every day for 2 weeks and it rained and a tornado went by, it stayed in that spot the whole time. After 2 weeks of staring at it every time I walked by I picked it up, thanked the tree for making it so blatantly obvious and took it home.

And she did a fine job on the resizing I might add!!! It is a beautiful wand and definitely worth keeping up as a post I love how you have gotten the end shaped to a perfect point and have left the bark around the handle area ~ sweet ~ love seeing such craft work.

Alas it is not my own craft work, it was made for me by a very good friend, but I love it so much. The power that comes from it is so intense and beautiful, I am lucky to have it

Oh wow nice wands guys!!!! Takes a long time to build a wand from scratch actually I made one it needs some finishing touches though. Also Elia your wand is very very magickal looking alone it looks like the wands that comes from the leader/head master of a group hail master Elia.

Someone pointed me to this thread so I'm going to post a couple of pictures of my altar. It isn't a traditional one, but the traditional ones don't totally sit right with me so I did what feels right. Description of the altar albeit a couple of items left out: The left side includes a fountain that I can turn on or off depending on when it feels right to do so. It also includes a small glass bowl filled partially with sand with sea shells on top of it to represent water/Poseidon. Then there is another small bowl filled with moss, live oak acorns, three feathers (duck, rook, and seagull), and a piece of flint; this represents earth in general. There is a small incense burner between the bowls along with an oil burner. There is also a piece of petrified wood. On the wall on this side is a painting I did for Cailleach Bheur. The center is where my incense burner is. My wand and mala beads hang on the wall behind this portion. Above it is a dagger hanging up. The right side has a large, three candle holder that is a castle with a dragon perched on top with his wings outstretched. Two stones reside on the castle (one amethyst and one glass, each with an etching; the amethyst has a triquetra and the glass has a Welsh dragon) along with a small fairy doll I bought. There is an incense burner that is shaped like a baby dragon hatching from an egg and when you burn the incense, it looks like the dragon is breathing smoke. There is a marble red egg and a pewter dragon as well. There is a small glass container filled with sand and various types of stone (primarily onyx and tiger's eye). On top of this container is a snowflake obsidian pendulum and there is a small snowflake obsidian orb in front of the container. This container is for Anubis. There is also a coyote skull that my sister and dad found while hunting deer.
