I just noticed that I hadn't put any of my actual drawings up yet. I just thought I'd share them:) The first two were costume designs for the characters of Varda and Yavanna the Valar from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Silmarillion. The next is a silly thing I did of Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings based on a parody my friend had written lol The others are just dragons/fantasy-type things. Hope you enjoy them. See, this is why I don't pic up a pencil anymore - far too many people out there waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than me!
Man! Awesome stuff there Torey. Love the Gandelf one lol.
Found I couldn't get into the Silmarillian as easily as the others. So glad you were able to make sense of it - the pictures are just gorgeous.

I'm sure whatever you draw is stunning...you might as well let us see...*hint hint*... 
As for the Silmarillion, it's a bit hard to follow in ways. But I tell you, the Valar are amazing...they remind me so much of the Goddesses and Gods found in our own histories...in fact, there are many similarities between the Silmarillion and Pagan legends in general...
...it's written in an almost "biblical" manner...as though it is really much like Middle Earth's "Bible"...you very much have to approach it as though you are reading a religious text. VERY cool. _________________ PM me any time!

Awwww... ....bless you all! Thank you, guys (well, gals lol). Rae'ya, I used Prismacolor pencils for the colored ones with plain old Crayola magic markers lol And also for the light reflecting off I used tiny bits of acrylic white paint
