About a month ago now I went through a stage of knowing stuff before it happened for example
- I do cheerleading and I knew exactly what group I was going to be put into about an hour before it happened and what people were going to be in it
- another one was another cheer session when I looked at my coach and the word that came into my head was 'avatar'. This really confused me until I found out later that weekend she went to a party dressed as an avatar
These really freaked me out since I always know when my phones about to ring too because I pick it up before it rings

Sounds like to me that your pretty sensitive to the environment around you. Nothing to be freaked out about--it seems like most people, especially around this forum, have some level of psychic/empathic sensitivity that pops up every now and again. My hubby can tell ya a couple of instances that prevented car accidents. Most of the time for me it's things like songs on the radio and phone calls though even I have had a few premonitions that were stronger. I don't really have any tips on focusing this sensitivity but maybe some other peeps on this forum will...?

Before there was such a thing as 'Call Display' both my hubby and myself would pick up the phone and say hello and the person's name who was calling. It used to freak them out, lol so eventually we stopped doing it.

What you're experiencing is a precognitive thing and many people have it. It can come in handy and help you in many of life's situations. Frodo mentioned her hubby and the car accidents - the same thing happened to me, so it can save your life.

I've had a few experiences like this before I even started on the path. They are a little unnerving at first but after a while you get used to it and almost know when to expect it.

As far as I know, not really. It's kind of something that comes and goes. But there are people on here that have significantly more experience then me in the area so maybe after some time of practice there is a way.

Once you get used to it, it becomes part of your life, it's a way of 'being'. I'm really not certain if you can control this sort of thing. I think if you ignore the messages and warnings eventually it will sort of fade. But I can't imagine not having it, I'd miss it terribly, lol.
