On my recent trip to see my daughter we did a bit of ghost hunting and managed to get a few interesting pics.

This was at an old church. It felt very...heavy (for lack of a better word).

I think it was just an odd reflection but who knows. Maybe she was peeking over my shoulder.

I am pretty sure this isn't dust. I have several others taken right after these first two and no orbs anywhere. Also we did not use the flash but it could still be a trick of the light. I just thought it was cool.

Like Elia said most orbs are dust particles/bugs etc... but with no flash and multiple pics you might be able to look at them all and see the ones that are dust and the ones that might not be. you just gotta go thru and look for matches, similarities etc...
Is the blonde your daughter and is she a bit of a psychic? she has that look i get when im "reading" a place/spirit. and i kinda feel like she might have had someone around her at that point, im a bit of a pyschometrist so i often pic up stuff outta photos and whatnots...
anywho, thanx for sharing these!!! they were quite cool

The church is located in Saskatchewan, Canada - kinda in the middle of nowhere (a couple of miles from a very small town called Leroy).

And it was a beautiful old building, even now with all the wonderful woodwork. There were a lot of abandoned farmsteads in the area and we had a great time looking through them.

Yes, the blonde is my daughter and I think she was just looking at the ceiling at the time of the picture. She never said anything about feeling anything at the church, although my other daughter picked up on many entities being in the church. Of all the places we looked at the church was the most intense.

If you didn't use the flash, dust may or may not be out of the question. From what I understand orbs that are actually dust are created by the light bouncing of the dust. And you said it felt heavy in there so I would think that you actually caught something.

I thought this might be helpful, Ive been in a Ghost hunting group for quite a few years now, most just dont trust orbs, as there is always dust in the air. I posted a picture of what I thought was a Ghost, sent to me from a friend, then found out it was fake. I think its in my blog. Anyway, the experiences ive had with orbs and my group are that unless they are solid we toss it. Even then you cant be sure, what I like to find is EVP's. Its hard to dismiss what you have captured on tape. But as i found out people can alter pictures, (like my friend) I think he just did it to get me going he knows how I am about my Ghost hunting. Anyway I still think it's dust, thats not saying nothing was there, I can feel the heaviness is some areas, others nothing. You cant always see, but feel, and then just hope to get it on tape!

Every Samhain we take pics of the circle before and after ritual. Always lots of orbs. With or without flash. Last year the ground was soggy due to lots of rain. Not much chance of dust. And in pics taken in quick succession, you can see the orbs move to follow a person. Although my sensitivity is growing, it isn't strong, but at Samhain, you really can't miss the presence of others. Here's a pic of last Samhain.

I don't know where the pic went. It was here yesterday.

wow.... ive never seen a pic quite like that one! even accounting for smoke or incense there are just so many! it would be interesting to wander off and take a few in unoccupied areas; then you could show them side by side. id be willing to bet the ones focused on the ritual area would have much, much more thanx for sharing!

I have a friend who is a ghost hunter and she says that very little credibility is given to pictures of orbs especially if the camera used is a digital camera as these apparently are notorious for showing orbs with or without the use of a flash. Again, as others have pointed out these are usually dust particles and not supernatural entities, especially if there are multiple orbs in the picture. Looks like a very cool old church though.
