As most know I like to Ghost Hunt. There is a new show on SYFY called Paranormal Witness, the very first show was on a Poltergeist.
This was so violent it makes one stop to think what kind of energy is behind it. Some of the footage was captured on a cell video and pictures with a camera.
The family lived through this for months before finally leaving the house.
Im thinking as a Ghost hunter id want to capture it all on tape, or try to communicate with the Spirit, but then just how far would I go since it was so violent.
Have any of you seen this show? And as a Witch how would you handle such a thing if it were in your home?
They are rerunning this so if you haven't seen it you should watch it and think about what kind of Spirit would do this.
I love the paranormal, and was doing this even before I got into Witchcraft, now I feel like I have a bit of an advantage with my knowledge of Spirit Communication.
Tell me what you think.

We rarely get ghost hunting shows over here, *sigh*
Haven't had a lot of experience with spirits myself. I have a female protective spirit who appears when I am threatened at work. She clears out a room fast.
At work, the girls and I are convinced we have a poltergeist. I work in a kitchen shop and yes, things fall down. However, natural causes do not cause items to fly off shelves at high rates of speed and land up to 6 feet away. He is just naughty and likes attention. I just get a feeling of "hee hee hee, did you miss me" when things fly around. When he gets too obnoxious, he receives a stern telling off and things calm down again.

I have an idea of how I would handle it... Running and screaming. Unfortunately, I'm a big sissy when it comes to ghosts that are violent. My sister, however, would definitely try talking to it and figuring it out, even though she's not sure she believe in ghosts!
I haven't watched the show, but the commercials make it look pretty spooky. I'm tempted to record some, but my husband hates it when I watch shows that freak me out. I've only just recently gotten him to record Ghost Hunters for me again. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for a good scare, you know? Not to mention, it's interesting.
Which reminds me. Is Ghost Hunters and the TAPS team a bunch of phooey or not? As a Ghost Hunter, Elia, do you think it's credible?

I did see this show. I love shows like this one. Hubby, as usual, hated it and made fun of it the whole time, *sigh*. Truth be told. I lived through a haunting much like that, though not as violent, when I was child. It was very scary. I remember banging on the walls and dishes flying out of the cupboards and breaking with nobody in the kitchen, doors slamming shut on their own. Once I was going downstairs to the basement and I felt something grab my foot and I fell down the stairs. Another time I saw a pair of glowing eyes in the corner or the back room of the basement. It was terrifiying. We didn't get rid of it until I was in middle school and my sister's friend who was a witch were babysitting me over night one night and made a witch bottle and did an exorsism. I remember my parents comming home wondering why there was salt all over the house, lol. Anyway, they burried the witch bottle near a tree and the tree slowly died and my dad finally cut it down two years later when it was completly dead. After that there was still some paranormal activity and you could still feel some energy, occasionally, but all the crazy scary stuff stopped. And I wasn't affraid to go in the basement, attic and kitchen where most of my experieces occured.

There is suppose to be a mischievous spirit at the casino where I used to work and where hubby works now ~ tribal council has had the medicine man down twice to shoo him/her away. I've only been there maybe six times since I retired with my disability.

Oh yes, very, its how we investigate, I love TAPS I wish I lived there id join their team. They will do everything possible to debunk, but there are some things that just leave you scratching your head. The only thing I wish they would change is the loud music they have in the background, it makes it hard to here sometimes.Lindsay, how old were you? and did you ever want to just run for the hills. I know what you mean Mr. V, laughs at me too. Id Ghost hunt every night lol, I wish I could afford some really good equipment.
Tonight's show was really creepy, just looking at the house and pictures they found (when checking the background on the place) gave me goosebumps, and I dont often get that from just watching the shows. I feel the same about the music. I have to turn the TV up really loud to hear anything. I'm glad to hear it's legitimate. I always hoped it wasn't all acting.

But, now you know why! Now I'm trying to break Lennon of his fear. But he's just a kid. I think all kids are a little afraid of the unknown. He's actually complaining about the ghost in my closet right now. I just had to get up and turn my bedroom light on. It drives me nuts that he's afraid of the spirits here, because they are so harmless and mind their own business, they don't even let theirselves be known much, but Lennon senses them and says they scare him and "will get him". I had an unusual experience when I was about 12. We were at our cottage and it was the middle of the night. I slept in a room with my sister on the top bunk, me on the bottom and my brother in the bed beside us. I woke up and saw him standing in the hallway but I looked in his bed and he was sleeping in it. I thought I may be just sleeping still, so I closed my eyes and opened them up again. He was still standing there and lying in bed. Freaked me out. Still don't understand what that was about. If anyone has any thoughts, love to hear!

You were seeing your brother's astral body - his physical body was in his bed but he, more than likely, had astrally projected just like most of us do during slleep.

That happened to me and my sister when we were kids, I saw her standing at the bottom of our bed, she was white and I could see through her, I kept hiding under the covers saying "stop it your scaring me" about 3 times peeking I reached over to touch her and she was gone.
It was a crazy thing

Wow I would have freaked out.
I did watch this show, it was pretty scary stuff. I dont know what Id do if that happened to me. But I like scary movies, especially if they are based on true stories. Do you watch the Ghost Hunters? TAPS I love that show too.
