Hiya 
Just to advise that there will be some forum tweaking going on for the next few weeks so please do not be alarmed.
Things you may notice are the forum layout colours looking different and weird.
This is happening as we are making a new coloured layout for Magicka Forum that can be used for people who prefer to have dark text on a light background rather than the light text on dark background that we presently have.
We wont be getting rid of the usual layout, just offering a second optional one if anyone wishes to use it.
If you have any problems with the forum while the tweaking is going on that doesnt include the colour changing then please do not hesitate to give me a shout

Oh, yes the tweeking freaked me out for moment...thought I would like the lighter background...but it really does not look natural for here to me...oh, well to each his own...lol
And my violet looks awful on white....hehe

Lol It's not staying like this! I prefer a nice cream shade lol.... this is just initial.... call it my blank canvas _________________ I still believe in paradise...

Was your tweaking causing the sluggish response times this afternoon too?
(I'm happy there is someone willing to play with the tech stuff -- even at home I throw up my hands in surrender and hand anything techie off to the Mister.)
Just thought I'd ask.

I have been tweaking for the last 7 hours till now if that helps

This new skin will have dark lettering on a cream/gold background. The cream/gold to fit in with the magicka colours of gold and black _________________ I still believe in paradise...

I'm sure it will look fabulous Cassandra and offer a great alternative to the present one for the members who find it difficult to see the letters on the dark background.
Your continuous efforts working behind the scenes are much appreciated.

Thanks for letting us know, Cassandra!! I was starting to get a little worried that my computer was freaking out becuase this looks like the distributed proofreaders forum!!!! So confused!!!! lol oh well, life goes on without the black....  I was finally getting used to it!! haha

So, it seems your 'tweaking' time did correspond to my slow response period... Since it was only Magicka that was not responding... I had assumed it was a temporary problem on the sites end. (Like I said, I'm a fair weather friend with technology.)

Randy,
I went to my profile and towards the end of the page is a place where you can set the color of the forum...place it on sub-black...and the usual screen will come back up.
Hope that works for you!!!
