Dear all,
I am entering this as dawn is breaking on what is the day dedicated to the sacred marriage of Zeus and Hera.
My magickal goals for 2008 can basically be summed up into one: dedicate myself and commit fully to the Wiccan Way.
I joined the Magicka School last year basically to find out more about Wicca. My travels have brought me into close contact with many religions and faiths. My present work finds me in the Philippines where I have felt for some time an affinity with the indigenous peoples faith.
From this I decided to research the faith of my country – the UK, and joined the Wicca Revealed course. As I only wanted (at that time) to learn more about it I applied myself fully into the lessons and research exercises but did not commit myself to the meditations and exercises.
However at the beginning of 2008, I started receiving virtually the same message from several sources – from colleagues, friends, family that basically confirmed that the time was right in my life to dedicate myself to the Wiccan Way.
I am therefore in the process of going back over my course notes and practicing the exercises, incorporating them into my daily life.

I notice that it reads share "up to 3" of your magickal goals; so I would like to share my primary goal for this year which is to heal and cleanse my body so that I can be healthier and stronger in order to practice healthier stronger magick.
Weighing 212 pounds and smoking over a pack a day, it is difficult to feel intune with nature (particularly when just taking a walk leaves you out of breath and exhausted).
So, I started by quiting smoking...Nov1st,2007 was my first smoke free day! Since then I have also made gradual change in my eating habits, had my first complete physical exam in over 20 years, and recently have started exercising and going for daily walks.
Everyday I am feeling stronger and healthier and I have more time for my lessons because I am no longer tired all the time. The most wonderful blessing so far is that not only can I go for walks without getting out of breath but, my sense of smell has greatly heightened since I quit smoking so every step is a new discovery.... "WOW So this is what a rose smells like!"
