Divination in general interests me, but specifically I'm interested in the Tarot. I'm currently taking the Beginner's Tarot course. There's so much to remember about the cards, and so much symbolism, but I think that Tarot is fascinating.

I am mainly interested in Tarot as I have been reading with the on and off for the past 20 years. I am also learning the Ogham too, which I find, for some reason a lot easier than the runes

Merry Meet,

I think that Tarot is a great way to get to know what has happened, is happing and what is to come, I think that if you get comfortable with a set of cards that you find suits your kind of still. There are a lot of different decks out there such as The Gilded Tarot and the Rider/Waite decks. It all comes down to what kind of deck jumps out to you.

The Beginners Tarot course tells you a lot you need to know when you are starting out and for people with paid memberships there is the advanced Tarot course which will teach you an in depth view of the connections between the Kabbalah and Tarot and it also looks at the crowley/Thoth Deck.

I hope that you all are doing well and would like to here from others and their interests in Divination.

Blessed Be

Vellum.

Yeah, the Tarot RAWKS. As others have said here, there's always another dimension to explore with them. I divine with regular playing cards as well.

Right now, I'm on a rune kick mostly to refresh my memory - I'd forgotten what a few of them meant, indicating to me that it was time to review.

Tarot and numerology are the ones that I am most drawn to.

I am really interested and intrigued by scrying mirrors. I would really like to try that as a form of divination and see how if works for me. The only problem is I would really like to borrow one if someone would be willing to lend one to me in the event that it does not turn out to be an effective way of divination for me then I would not have had to have the expense of purchasing one if I would not be using it anymore. They can be quite expensive (as are crystal balls). And those are the only two forms of divination I am interested in trying at this time. I would be very grateful to anyone willing to lend one to me. I do have tarot cards, and they are pretty accurate. But I have a desire to expand my experiences. 8) :!: :!: :!: :!:

My first introduction to divination was the rune stones. I had a hard time
remembering the symbols. Then I got tarot cards and the book. I picked
that up very quickly. It would amaze me how the cards would
fall and always seemed to fit the person i was reading for. Then i got
a pendulum. I have a very large collection now and had a friend make a
stand so i could display them. But there is only one i carry with me
and use. So tarot and the pendulum are my favorite. I also get images
when i mediate, Mostly faces of people i don't know. It strange but i look
forward to it i never know what ill see.

Many Blessings Elia V

My divination tool, are oracle cards, and basically water in a bowl, opening my mind, and concentrating untill images become clear in the water.

Lol...

Well let me share how I scry with the use of this bowl of water

I often use a bowl of water with a few drops of ink. For me to order to scry, I sit comfortably, preferably inside a cast circle, in a glommy but candlelit room. Then, without straining ,I gaze at the surface of the water inside the bowl. Usually I am able to discern a blue light emanating from it. And out loud, I say the question I want information about.

Afterthat I continue to gaze at the water. At a certain point, I will notice it's surface has become hazy. Then it will come sharply into focus. This is the point at which my vision may open. If it doesnt well I will do it again from the start. The vision maybe symbols or scenes. When I am still starting out, they aren't be easily discernible. But when I do it several times I finally learn to resist the temptation to shift my line of vision in my attempt to try to make them out. I keep my eyes on the scrying bowl. Sometimes the images I see wont make sense but I make sure that I wrote them down in a piece of paper along with my question I asked so I can assess their meaning from the vantage point of a later date.. Well.. it only happens rarely since I easily get the infos that I want to know.

Oh and by the way... when I feel I am ready to finish scrying I run my hands through the water and erase any pictures or images that remain so that it is cleared for anyone else who may wish to scry. I stand then and make my way through the hall of columns and pass through a door-way on the rear wall.

I am interested in all types of divination, its all fasinating! My favourite tool at the moment is my rose quartz Pendulum. I love Tarot cards also but waiting to start the Beginers Tarot course to become more familiar with them. From reading other posts on here, i will be practicing scrying now! x
