I'm trying a recipe for homemade banana split ice cream this weekend - will post it up if it's decent!

I know you can take a regular homemade vanilla ice cream recipe and add just about anything you want to it. My husbands aunt makes cookies and cream ice cream all the time with oreo cookies and it come out wonderful.

I dont know the exact recipe she uses but its got eggs, sugar, vanilla and cream in it.
