I'm looking for a book on runes, any suggestions? ( I don't really feel like using the blank rune, so any books that are more 'traditional' maybe? Thanks

My first rune set was a box set which included rune stones and the book. It was called 'The Runes' by Horik Svensson...
I really like these runes, great for starters, and very very accurate too...

There are a lot of books out there on Runes, and none of them are perfect. I have a sizeable collection now (I like to collect opinions! ), and not one of them has been as valuable as my own personal exploration and relationship with the runes.
For a very basic, general, non-biased book on runes, I like 'The Rune Primer' by Sweyn Plowright. It's almost completely devoid of any personal thought regarding the Runes themselves and is a brilliant book to use as a launching pad for further study. Just be careful about reading the bits at the start that all sound hardcore reconstructionst - I agree with him to a point, but think he goes a bit overboard with that. Also, he quite obviously has a negative bias against Thorsson/Flowers, and fully half of his critical review of that author is totally irrelevant to anything and just shows Sweyn's own lack of understanding regarding Left Hand Paths.
After that, any combination of Galena Krasskova, Raven Kaldera, Freya Aswynn, Edred Thorsson and Kveldulf Gundarsson should give you a pretty good range of differening perspectives and opinions. Each author has both some great ideas, and some shockers. But then I imagine they'd all say the same about me! That's why it's SO important to read more than one source, because working with the Runespirits is such a varied and personal practice, then you'll never find just one or two authors who can give you a complete or 'true' picture.
Steer clear of Ralph Blum, anyone promoting the 'Uthark' order, and Kenneth Meadows. I could say why but fear I'd be here all night!
In general, I'm a proponant of 'read as many books as you can on the subject and form your own opinion'. Also read forums and websites... theres lots of threads here in the Divine Divination forum that can give you a bit of info. And perhaps ask Tallwoman to point you towards any websites or forums that Rick the Runereader is currently active on. What I've seen of his writings sounds good to me, but it's rather sparse these days and I don't know if he's currently active anywhere. Oswald the Runemaker also has some good info on his website.

Thanks. I don't thinks ill get The Runes' by Horik Svensson, because i've already made my own set of runes. I'm just looking for a book with the generally accepted meanings and interpretations. I've done reasearch on the internet, but the meanings of the runes vary a lot depending on the web sites, I guess this is the problem of personal interpretation...

Make contact with the Rune Gild, books by Edred Thorsson are worth reading. There is no blank rune, you are correct.
