Hello to all wiccans!!!!!!!! i am new to the craft...just started ...and took free wicca curs .... is someone here done it?? because i am a little bit scared before first test!!!  ..and i live in country where u cant bay witchcraft tools.....and my parents do not know i am doing this  ,.,,,,because they hate witchcraft.....but i can see freedom in it!!!!!.... so i am looking for a friend to talk with about wicca and magic ......on facebook , or on this site!!!! Are you in a group, because they have mock exams you can take.
Welcome to the school, I hope you enjoy your studies, I dont know how old you are, but dont rush to tell your parents until you know for sure you are ready, they will question and you will need to know how to answer them. We have a lot of young people here that are new to Witchcraft, and aren't prepared to tell their parents, so your not alone, you will find friends here you can talk to, when you feel like their is no where else to turn.

Welcome to Magicka School.
Everyone here for the most part is super friendly. All of the Mentors and Mentor Assistants have taken the courses. Because of this they are able to help. You can request a Mentor/group in the New Members forum under Mentor requests. In my group we have a Book of Mirrors which is like an online diary. When you get assigned a group only members of that group can see your posts when made within that forum. That is good if you are shy and it also helps you get information from members who are on all lessons in the study.
You can also look at the other members research and questions they have on various lessons in the Wicca Revealed forums.
When it comes to your "witchy items" it's okay if you can't by them in town there are a good number of websites and a lot of things you can make yourself. As for an alter, since you are in the "broom closet", so to speak, you can keep these items in a box that you can use as an alter.
I promise that there is nothing to be afraid of, especially if this is something that feels right to you. People are sometimes against things they don't know anything about. And like Elia V said, learn what you can before you let people know. That way, when they have questions, you will be equipped to give them well informed answers.

Welcome to the site, you will find lovely helpful people here. I like you am in the broom closet to my family and I am an old crone married with kids probably your age! As suggested I wouldn't tell anyone until you are prepared to answer questions. Like you I haven't been on this path long so I am currently reading everything I can find to read on the subject to equip myself with the knowledge I need....you are right it is a really freeing feeling.
