So here's the basics concerning the 12 Houses
The houses are numbered 1 through to 12 (anti-clockwise) starting at the 1st 30 degree segment just below the 9 o'clock position or Ascendant Line.
You should notice that the signs & houses do not coincide due to the 1st house always starting after the Ascendant Line.
The zodiac signs fall into different houses depending on what & where your rising sign or Ascendant is.
The first house is where your rising sign is placed.

The first house is Aries & Mars.
This contains your rising sign and is the most important of the houses.
This house expresses your personality, health, temperament and general attitude towards life.

The second house is Taurus & Venus.
This reveals your attitudes in respect of security, possessions, feelings & partners._________________

The third house is Gemini & Mercury.
This concerns itself with siblings, communication, the early years of education & transportation._________________

The fourth house is Cancer & the Moon.
This house deals with your home, family, parents & land._________________

The fifth house is Leo & the Sun.
This house is about creativity - thats not just the Arts, but also in the home, at work, the garden._________________

The sixth house is Virgo & Mercury.
Similar to the first house, this relates to health, but in this case it's more to do with hygiene, your general well being, diet, exercise & routine work._________________

The seventh house is Libra & Venus.
This house relates to your attitudes towards personal & professional relationships. _________________

The eighth house is Scorpio & Pluto.
This house is sometimes known as the 'House of Death'. Not death as in dying, but more to do with rebirth, new beginnings & coming to terms with deep rooted problems.
it is also the house that concerns itself with sexuality, investments & inheritance._________________

This house tells us about your philosophy on life, your ideals, dreams, attitude towards religion, ongoing education & travel._________________

The twelfth house is Pisces & Neptune.
This is the house of escapism, the unconscious & isolation. It is linked with hospitals, prisons & institutions - a place that we experience deep loneliness & isolation, where we can reflect & consider our faith._________________
